Gordon Apple

Mr. Appel has been in financial services for over 30 years and been involved with several billion of transactions including leveraged buy-outs, specialized tax-driven vehicles, acquisitions and divestitures.

Gordon has been employed at JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, and PruCapital (the financial services division of Prudential). In 2001 Mr. Appel founded AMA International, an international mergers and acquisitions boutique with offices in Belgium, Holland and New York.  Firm has expertise in middle market sale assignments, and buy side search mandates.  AMA does not have an industry specialization and is currently involved in assignments in the various industries including various manufacturing disciplines, value added distribution and publishing.

AMA assists clients in identifying and pursuing acquisition targets that fit their growth criteria.  We provide all the research in an industry necessary to identify suitable acquisition targets and then pursue those targets to the successful completion of a transaction. Our expertise is to convince the owners of companies that are not on the market to engage in discussions with our client exclusively.  When working with our clients who are seeking to acquire companies, we have never been involved in an auction.

Edmund HumenbergerEdmund Humenberger

As entrepreneur, Edmund Humenberger founded various successful companies - Online logistics marketplace Eulox (sold to SAP) or, online payment system www.daopay.com or mobile tv experience at sport events, onsite Broadcast.eu.

Graduated from Johannes Kepler University in Linz in business administration and entrepreneurship. He worked as sales manager for a warehouse-logistics software manufacturer, senior consultant at major productivity consultants company and University lecturer at the FH Steyr at the logistics master program.

 

 


Guido QuagliardiGuido Quagliardi       

Management Consultant (Partner at ITALCHEM Ltd. Sti.)

Italian national, graduated from University of Rome in Political Sciences in 1976, holder of a Diploma in Management from Loyola University of Chicago, member of the Committee of the Italian Businessmen in Turkey, Counsellor of the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Sydney from 1983 to 1987.

Worked in Montedison Group (commodity and speciality chemicals, plastics, rubbers, agrochemicals, man-made fibres, pharmaceuticals) from 1976 to 1991 in following countries and positions:

  • Sales Manager for Europe of Fertimont -Fertilizers- (Milano),
  • Assistant Managing Director of Montedison Hellas (Athens),
  • Managing Director of Montedison Australia (Sydney),
  • Managing Director of Montedison Singapore (Singapore),
  • Strategic Analysis Manager for Advanced and Composite Materials (Milano)
  • General Manager of Kimmont Kimya -Chemical Auxiliaries- (Istanbul),
  • Responsible for New Ventures of Auschem S.p.A.-Chemical Auxiliaries- (Milano).

Later, until 1993, in Enichem Group as Managing Director of Enichem Iran (Tehran).

After leaving Enichem, acted as consultant for different companies, mainly in the fields of Petrochemicals, Speciality Chemicals, LPG, Textiles.

In 1995 founded ITALCHEM San. Ve Tic. Ltd. Sti. together with Aygül Doğruol. The firm acts as Advisor in projects of M&A, Company Establishment, Partner Research, Temporary Management, Control and Marketing Assessment, as well as Agent for several foreign companies, mainly in the fields of Iron Profiles, Machinery for Textiles and other sectors, Specialty Chemicals.

In the firm he supervises all aspects related to Organization, Strategies, Corporate Finance and Legal Matters.

RELATED ASSIGNMENTS: from 2002 to 2010, within the context of a project commissioned by the Italian Group Fratelli Ricci, operating in the field of Chemical Auxiliaries for the Textile Sector, Controller (with title of Director) of Fratelli Ricci Kimya (located in Istanbul). From 2012 to 2014 temporary Co-General Manager of Bonfiglioli Turkey, operating in the sector of industrial gear boxes.


Ian WrightIan Wright

Ian's background is in finance and corporate finance - particularly in situations of financial distress.  Prior to becoming a founder director of ACS Partners in London, Ian was Group Finance Director of an international engineering group headquartered in the U.S.  His career has spanned a number of financial and business development roles, principally in the engineering and telecommunications sectors.  Ian has extensive experience in identifying, negotiating and completing acquisitions and divestment assignments in Europe, the US and the Far East.  Ian currently advises a number of private and family-owned groups on financial and business development issues and has considerable experience of inter-generational change problems in family managed businesses.
